Discover why Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s is the gem of one of the fastest-growing hotel groups in Europe

Earlier this year, Jurys Inn hotels across the UK officially rebranded to Leonardo Hotels. Now operating 52 hotels, Leonardo Hotels UK & Ireland has three brands: Leonardo Hotels, Leonardo Royal Hotels and NYX Hotels – all of which are recognised for their prime city centre locations and their comfortable and contemporary rooms. We recently stayed at Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s, located on the doorstep of the iconic London landmark, St Paul’s Cathedral. Just a five-minute walk from St Paul’s and Mansion House stations, this is quite possibly the pick of the Leonardo Hotels in the UK. Here’s why.

Location

The hotel’s location is unbeatable in London. Nestled beside St Paul’s Cathedral with stunning views of the iconic landmark from our room, Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s is truly an excellent location for business, leisure and family guests. The hotel boasts no less than 432 spacious and modern guest bedrooms, making it the perfect base in the city.

Around the hotel are plenty of good shops, restaurants and attractions, as well as good connections to the rest of the capital.

The Tate Modern is exactly an 11-minute walk away, while One New Change is only a four-minute walk away and is ideal for shopping.

Rooms

As mentioned above, the St Paul’s hotel in London boasts more than 400 spacious bedrooms, each boasting a modern décor. Every room has a DREAM BED by Leonardo, with crisp white linens, feather and down duvets, and very comfy plush pillows, all of which will guarantee you a good night’s sleep. And even though it might be busy outside, you won’t hear a peep in your room.

There’s free high-speed Wi-Fi available, as well as air conditioning, 24-hour room service, a hair dryer, a 49-inch flat-screen TV and a hot drink station.

Upgrades are available as well and we recommend doing so because you’ll get to enjoy extra facilities, such as soft bathrobes and slippers, 10% off food and beverages, and a mini fridge with water and a snack.

Food and Drink

Leo’s onsite Bar and Restaurant is the perfect place to enjoy lunch, dinner or a signature cocktail. In the mornings, the buffet breakfast is extremely generous. You can choose from a selection of cooked breakfasts, pastries, cereals and fruit. We recommend indulging in the omelette station, you can choose what you want in it.

Plus, here’s our tip: for stunning views across London, head up to the Sabine Rooftop Bar and Restaurant. There’s both an indoor and outdoor dining area, and it’s a fantastic place to relax, whatever the weather.

If you’re looking for somewhere to just chill for a bit, perhaps with a coffee or catch up on your emails, then the hotel’s glass atrium is a perfect spot as it’s surrounded by beautiful, lush greenery.

Spa and Gym

If you want to keep fit during your stay, then you can do so in the Rena Health and Fitness Club. Here you can enjoy the fully-equipped gym with rowing machines, cross trainers and medicine balls. You’ll also have access to studio classes to help you hit your fitness goals. Fancy a swim? Then make use of the 25m heated swimming pool before relaxing in the sauna and steam room afterwards.

One of the best things about the hotel is the Rena Spa, which is open to guests and non-guests. Offering luxury treatments in a peaceful environment, it makes for a perfect spa day – an ideal treat for yourself and/or a loved one.

Business

Leonardo Royal Hotel London St Paul’s makes a spectacular venue for meetings and events, as it offers 23 flexible work spaces and meeting rooms overlooking St Paul’s Cathedral. The meeting rooms are spread over two floors and can impressively accommodate up to 1,200 delegates.
