Get a taste of the X factor at Archer Street, Harvey Nichols

At 7 Star Life, we’ve always been partial to festive shenanigans in London. We adore the quaint Christmas markets serving obscenely large German sausages smothered in artisan mustard, the twinkling Christmas lights at Oxford Street – even mingling with the masses and their copious offspring at Winter Wonderland with a plastic cup of moreish mulled wine floats our Chritsmasy boat.

Being such self confessed festive fans, you can imagine our excitement upon hearing about the new Christmas office party-esque Archer Street cocktail bar nestled on the 5th floor of Harvey Nichols in Knightsbridge.  This boisterous pop up is perfect for getting you in the party spirit -merrily merging together palate-pleasing cocktails, fine food and the sassiest vocal talent hailing from the sultry streets of Soho – the birthplace of the original Archer Street bar we know and love.

Prepare to be wowed by random X Factor style singing performances by the waiting staff in a seriously stylish atmosphere as you salivate over ample portions of seared tuna smothered in wasabi mayonnaise, braised short ribs with creamy mash and silky truffle infused mac n cheese.

We advise all flustered shoppers who’ve spent the day carefully purchasing presents for their loved ones in Harvey Nichols to save time by having them expertly wrapped by the lovely lady in the Christmas section on the fourth floor (aint no body got time for that) before treating themselves to a cheeky glass of vino in this charming popup.

Also perfect for bonding over Christmas tipples with colleagues or friends, Archer Street at Harvey Nichols serves a tempting variety of festive cocktails including the jovially named  ‘Let it Sloe’ – a twist on the classic mojito, made with Cîroc Vodka and sloe gin, ‘Don’t Leaf Me This Way’ – a mouthwatering medley of Tanqueray Gin, grenadine and basil, and the shamelessly flamboyant  ‘I Love (CÎ) Rock N Roll’, a chic Bellini opulently made with Cîroc Red Berry and Billecart Salmon champagne.

Tis the season to eat, drink, be merry and sporadically jump on tables breaking into song, so if you fancy a change from another meh night out in London, mince over to the Archer Street pop up at Harvey Nics where a talented team of singers and resident DJs are performing the cheesy Christmas hits we know and love every day.

After all, Christmas wouldn’t be Christmas without a hearty spot of cheese…
