I certainly was in the months leading up to my wedding, and so was overjoyed when I managed to snag a highly coveted appointment with hair extension queen Louise Bailey at Beauty Club London – just a stones throw away from Oxford Street.

Wedding day hair needs to be perfect. That fairytale, romantic, glamorous, shampoo advert worthy hair is a dream that needs to be made a reality, and Louise Bailey can make that happen. She did for me and I was ecstatic with the results.

After hearing about Louise’s impressive results through the hair and beauty grapevine I was excited for my transformation.

Arriving at The Beauty Club, I was impressed with the inviting modern decor – cheeky neon signs and bright, yet elegant furnishings. And a cocktail bar of course, because hair makeovers and cocktails go hand on hand….

Now back to the hair… I opted for tape extensions which are made by Louise and her partner Moe Harb themselves using the finest European human Remy hair. I loved how the packets of extensions in various colours were all neatly displayed in a vending machine in the middle of a salon – no cheeky chocolate bars here…

Moe asked me what colour I was looking for and I immediately thought of a retouch of my usual dark brown locks. However after being convinced by Moe to go for a lighter highlighted look after his creative eye scanned my tanned complexion, I decided to trust his expertise.

After my original extensions were expertly removed by Louise’s friendly team and I was given a coffee in a chic emerald and gold cup to slowly savour, Moe expertly coloured my hair with gorgeous caramel highlights.

My revamped mane was then throughly washed and blowdried before a perfect colour match was made and my new extensions swiftly attached by Louise herself. When I say swiftly I do not mince my words. This had to be the quickest hair extension application I had ever experienced – and I have had many a set of extensions attached in my time.

The finished look was long, volumised hair with a glorious glossy caramel highlighted colour – not the look I was expecting for my big day but one I am so glad I opted for as I was truly over the moon with the ultimate bridal glow up results!

To finish the look, Louise styled my new locks with a state of the art, Turbo curling tong – one of the best on the market and renowned for creating striking bouncy curls and waves. I was thrilled when I was given one to take home and I have styled my hair with this wonder wand ever since.

As for our big day which took place on the beautiful cliff side Villa Delenia on the Greek Island of Evia, it was truly the happiest day of our lives, and thanks to Louise and Moe at Beauty Club London I had the golden, big bridal hair of my dreams and I will forever be grateful.
