Juvia, Miami

Juvia boasts unparalleled panoramic views of Miami sat from its 9th floor penthouse, enabling patrons to gaze over both the city and the glistening South Beach Ocean in a spacious open-air dining room. Whilst you take in this stunning view, you can enjoy the equally superb food which flawlessly fuses Japanese, French and Peruvian cuisine for an elegant, unique and daring dining experience.

The wide ranging menu is a collaborative effort of 3 highly talented chefs; Sunny Oh, Laurent Cantineaux and pastry chef Gregory Gourreau. Their different culinary backgrounds, tastes and techniques ensure that this is ambitious and delightful cuisine.

The cold bar serves delicious oysters with a mix of dipping sauces, whilst the elegant crudos features salmon nashi, rock shrimp tiradito and beef Carpaccio. Popular starters include butter poached king crab, sautéed foie gras and lobster salad. The beautifully presented entrees include milk fed pork confit, sea scallops plancha, Chilean seabass and pan seared duck magret. Patrons can also order from the charcoal grill which offers steaks, tuna and tasty Korean marinated short ribs. The impressive wine list was designed to complement the unique fusion of Japanese, French and Peruvian cuisine, whilst Juvia also offers several colourful cocktails. To finish the meal, the creative dessert menu features fabulous deconstructed key lime pie, lychee fruit soup and a coconut-pineapple shooter topped with foam named “the Juvia shot”.

Respected Venezuelan architect and interior designer Alejandro Barrios-Carrero designed the stunning landmark building, which integrates nature into the concrete structure to create a calm and balanced atmosphere up in the Miami sky. This saw him pick up the prestigious James Beard Award for Best Restaurant Design in 2013. The exquisite design was also aided through internationally celebrated Botanist Patrick Blanc, who was commissioned to design the beautiful vertical garden which adds even more visual appeal to this lively and popular restaurant.

Both inside and out, the restaurant features stylish, modern and comfortable furniture along with beautiful wooden flooring, marble tables and touches of purple throughout. This creates the perfect ambience for the late evening scene, where the restaurant becomes a lively lounge with cocktails and live music overlooking the best views of South Beach.

The service is exceptional for a busy restaurant, ensuring that you feel relaxed and welcomed as soon as you step through the door. The majestic panoramic views, flawless design, daring yet meticulously crafted menu, trendy atmosphere and friendly staff ensure that Juvia offers the best dining experience in all of South Beach.
