Majestically nestled at the top of the Es Porroig cliff, overlooking the strikingly scenic bay of Es Cubells, this charming hotel boasts unique Moroccan decor, spacious rooms and an outdoor pool area and garden with picturesque views so breathtaking they would break Instagram.

I visited this glorious abode with my other half earlier this summer, and upon arriving was instantly enamoured with the moorish artwork adorning the various walls and crevices of the property.

We later discovered that the owner of this quaint hotel had lived in Morocco at one point and had become inspired by the interior design and art pieces across the country – playing homage to its inimitable style within the artistic walls of the hotel.

Our room was pleasingly minimalist-chic with a large stylish bathroom, gigantic king-sized plus bed and a balcony complete with table, chairs, an inviting sofa built into the wall and, of course, awe-inspiring views of the royal blue Mediterranean sea.

We breakfasted in the garden on our first day, devouring freshly-baked pastries, cheeses, fruits and locally made preserves whilst taking in the visually-enticing scenery around us.

Lunch later that lazy day, under the warming Ibizan sun was an equally merry affair and consisted of fresh fish dishes, colourful salads and grilled vegetables drenched in deliciously earthy olive oil.

Whilst dining and appreciating the natural beauty around me, I had the feeling of being in a private villa, being cooked for by my very own private chef. I also leant that the hotel is open to personal culinary requests 24 hours in advance – perfect for fussy eaters or those seeking extra personal touches.

Guests may also take advantage of the hotel’s concierge, boat and car hire booking service – again giving them that bespoke feel so often lacking in larger scale holiday accommodations.

Just a 17 minute drive from Ibiza international airport and a mere 10 minutes from Ibiza town, Las Brisas de Ibiza is the perfect luxury base to recharge your batteries between the bustling closing parties of the island.

Just don’t be surprised if you end up avoiding them altogether, as prying yourself away from this enchanting Balearic haven is a chore far too arduous to bear…
