Sea Breeze Beach Resort by Hilton

The idylic Sea Breeze Beach Resort is located on the island’s south coast, and inspired by chic, white-washed Cycladic architecture. The resort features direct access to a sandy beach, boasts three inviting swimming pools, two restaurants and an indulgent spa complete with soul-soothing face and body treatments.

Newly opened this year, all modern rooms and suites are absolutely breathtaking in design and feature their own private pool or hot tub – perfect for honeymooning guests like us.

This was the first hotel in Santorini we stayed at days after our wedding in the Greek Island of Evia and appreciated how pampered and relaxed we were made to feel by the hotel’s facilities and wonderful staff.

The food in the beachside restaurant was truly exquisite as was the full  body couples massage in the blissful Euphoria Spa – exactly what we needed to relax and revive our weary bodies so soon after the most hectic and happiest day of our life

Atoles Retreat Santorini

This boutique retreat had such mesmerising views, we wouldn’t help but have a second wedding photoshoot here. Thanks to the kind and welcoming hotel staff who took the photos and ensured we had everything we needed, our stay in this slice of Greek paradise was truly a dream.

A bowl of fruit and a bottle of silky smooth red wine awaited us in our cave-like, elegant suite, which we snoozed the night away in peacefully before an incredibly picturesque swim in our private pool overlooking the shimmering sea and volcanic mountains.

Situated in Santorini’s scenic Imerovigli village, this beautiful all white retreat blends perfectly with the simplistic Cycladic architecture of the area and is famed for its captivating views of the majestic Caldera ocean and healthy breakfast which is brought to your suite for you to savour whilst overlooking the highly instagramable scenery.

Perfect for honeymooners, babymooners and lovers who just want to shut themselves away from the world and enjoy each others company in one of the most stunning locations in the world.

Cocoon Suites Santorini

As you may have noticed, I’m a big fan of boutique hotels, and Cocoon Cave Suites was an epitome of a truly special boutique hotel. Each of the nine newly renovated 5* suites have been carved and hollowed out of the incredible volcanic landscape of Santorini.

We stayed in this magical place towards the end of our honeymoon and adored our cool, stylish suite with complementary cotton robes and sultry shower cave. Just a few steps away outside was our private balcony complete with bubbling jacuzzi bath overlooking one of the most outstanding natural views we have ever had the pleasure of experiencing.

The hotel’s 24 hour concierge can arrange organic candlelit dinners overlooking the sea or sailing excursions on your very own private yacht for the day. No wonder most suites are fully booked in advance by elite jet setters and honeymooners with exquisite tastes.

A few words of advice – book now for a 2023 summer holiday you will never forget…

Flying Dress Photo

The flying dress photoshoot is a must when mincing about Santorini – who wouldn’t want to immortalise the most scenic moment of your life on print? Especially when wearing a magical flying dress that memorises even the hardest to please eyes.

I heard about this gloriously whimsical photoshoot on Instagram, where I noticed many posts here and there of gorgeous girls posing against stunning Santorini backdrops whilst wearing a shimmering, billowing silky dress in various colours.

After much research, I found the very best in the business – the aptly named Flying Dress Photo and booked a special honeymoon photoshoot in gloriously scenic Imerovigli. We were taken to a small building which housed a changing room to prepare in. I shifted through the numerous silky dresses in various colours and opted for a golden yellow number with a pretty open back.

We were then led by the talented photographer and Professional Dress Fluffer (aka the man who makes the magic happen) to the most picturesque locations on the island and asked to pose in various ways. The Professional Dress Fluffer would stand holding the end of my dress train and on command of the photographer, would throw the dress up in the air.

The result were some of the most magnificent photos we have ever had taken of us and we can’t wait for them to adorn our walls.
