EatClub Lands in Manchester: The App Quietly Rewriting the Way the City Eats Out

Manchester’s dining scene has never been short on personality, but this spring it welcomes something genuinely transformative. EatClub, the fast‑growing dining app backed by Marco Pierre White, has arrived in the city—and it’s quietly reshaping the way people eat out. Already a hit in London, the platform blends insider hospitality knowledge with smart technology to give diners access to exclusive off‑peak prices at some of Manchester’s most-loved restaurants and bars.

What sets EatClub apart is its simplicity. Designed by restaurateurs who understand the ebb and flow of service, the app uses real‑time pricing to help venues make better use of quieter hours. For diners, that translates into beautifully effortless savings—often up to 50% off—without the awkwardness of codes, vouchers or hushed conversations with staff. Everything happens discreetly through EatClub Pay, a digital card added to your phone wallet. You choose your offer before you arrive, pay with the card, and the exclusive price is applied automatically. It’s smooth, modern and refreshingly unobtrusive.

Londoners embraced the concept quickly when EatClub launched there in 2025. Nearly 1,000 venues now use the platform, and the impact has been significant: diners using EatClub go out 70% more often, while restaurants see up to a tenfold uplift during targeted off‑peak windows, amounting to around a 12% annual revenue boost. It’s no wonder the company has attracted serious investment. Founded in Australia by CEO Pan Koutlakis and hospitality icon Marco Pierre White, EatClub recently closed an oversubscribed $27 million AUD (£14m+) Pre‑Series B round led by Marbruck, with continued support from EVP and CoAct. That funding is now powering a rapid UK expansion, with Manchester the latest city to join the movement.

The line‑up of Manchester venues reads like a curated snapshot of the city’s culinary personality. Italian favourites such as Ciaooo, Salvi’s Mozzarella Bar, The Pasta Factory and Noi Quattro bring their trademark warmth and authenticity. Lovers of global flavours can dive into the bold South Asian dishes at Khau Galli and Wah Ji Wah, the Japanese comfort cooking at Maki & Ramen, or the vibrant, sunshine‑infused plates at Soul & Surf. For those who prefer their dining wrapped in atmosphere, Avan Lounge Restaurant & Shisha Bar, Peppermints Bar & Lounge, Peppermints Cafe, TYGA Restaurant & Bar and On The Hush offer everything from daytime coffee to late‑night cocktails. Contemporary favourites including KAJI, Stan‑M1, Arnero, Napoleons Restaurant, Chai Latte, Fress Restaurant & Bar and Doux Chanton round out a selection that reflects the city’s appetite for both neighbourhood charm and elevated evenings out.

For CEO and Co‑Founder Pan Koutlakis, Manchester was an obvious next step. He describes the city’s hospitality scene as having “incredible energy” and says the team is thrilled to be working with such a diverse range of venues from day one. EatClub, he explains, is about making it easier for people to dine out more often, discover new favourites and enjoy great value in a way that feels completely effortless.

With hundreds of venues already live in London and momentum building across the UK, EatClub’s arrival in Manchester gives the city’s food lovers a new way to explore, indulge and rediscover the joy of dining out—whether it’s a spontaneous midweek meal, after‑work drinks or a long‑overdue catch‑up with friends. The app is now available to download, with participating Manchester venues live from 10 March.
