Support Breast Cancer Awareness with Big Fernand

London’s go-to place for burgers with a je ne se quoi – Big Fernand – has launched a fundraising initiative 7* Life can fully get behind. Throughout October, any burger can be upgraded to a pink bun for just £1, with all proceeds donated to Breast Cancer Now. Big Fernand launched the campaign to support Breast Cancer Awareness.

The French burger favourite, in the heart of South Kensington on Thurloe Place, offers Big Fernand’s varied menu of authentic French burgers and expertly paired cheese that the international brand is famous for. Using the most premium meat on the market and freshly baked buns, Big Fernand offers discerning foodies a taste of France.

On my recent visit, I ordered Le Raclette. Made with premium beef, the burger comes with raclette cheese, bacon, caramelised onions, chives and the Big Fernand BBQ sauce. It’s messy but so worth it. Great layers of flavour, oozing quality. The raclette cheese is paired so nicely with the caramelised onions, while bacon combined with the beef is always a winner, particularly when it’s of the highest quality, as you’d expect from Big Fernand.

These burgers, which you can now also order via Deliveroo and UberEats, are made using responsibly sourced meat from the UK, which feature classic French cheeses made from raw milk, such as Tomme de Savoie, raclette and Forume d’Ambert. All offerings can be washed down with a beautiful french wine selection or a French craft beer; try the Meteor Blanche, it’s got lovely coriander notes which really works with the food.

October’s nearly up so treat yourself this payday to La Vie en Rose from Big Fernand and make a positive impact in the fight against breast cancer.
