The Real Greek launches epic meat platter to celebrate the release of My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3

As the eagerly awaited “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 3” graces the silver screen, The Real Greek is inviting diners on a gastronomic odyssey steeped in Greek tradition. To mark the release of this cinematic delight this month, the renowned restaurant chain is unveiling a special Greek meat platter and craft cocktails, all in the spirit of fabulous Greek wedding shenanigans.

The latest installment of the beloved movie franchise sees Nia Vardalos and John Corbett reprise their iconic roles, embarking on a heartwarming and hilarious adventure as the Portokalos family congregates for a joyous family reunion in Greece.

To encapsulate the celebratory fervor surrounding the film’s release, The Real Greek is offering the “Big Fat Greek Platter” and two signature cocktails at all its locations until September 24th – so get down to one before its too late.

The culinary centerpiece of this celebration is of course the meat platter priced at £35.00 and designed for two or more Greek meat lovers. My wife and I recently sampled this joyous feast and were overjoyed with its meaty magnificence. The shamelessly indulgent platter showcases an array of succulent meats including lamb skewer, Loukaniko beef and pork Greek sausage, tender pork, chicken skewers, BBQ chicken wings, traditional lamb meatballs, and a side of crispy chips.

To complement this epic feast, The Real Greek’s skilled mixologists have crafted two exclusive cocktails, aiming to whisk diners away to the idyllic golden sandy beaches of Greece:

  1. Big Fat Greek Sunset (£8.50): A delightful blend of Axia Mastiha, Aperol, tangy lime, orange juice, and a touch of sweetness, epitomizing the essence of a Greek sunset.
  2. Virgin Bouquet (£5.95) – Non-Alcoholic: A refreshing concoction of apple juice, floral elderflower, and zesty lemon, offering a delightful alcohol-free beverage.

The Real Greek, known for its dedication to presenting authentic Greek flavors, sources core ingredients directly from esteemed suppliers in Greece. From the world’s oldest living olive tree in Crete for their olive oil (which I couldn’t get enough of drizzled on fluffy flatbread) to the renowned Epirus for their exceptional feta, the restaurant brings the very essence of Greece to its diverse range of dishes.

For those seeking an authentic Greek dining experience, celebrating the release of this heart warming movie, The Real Greek promises an unforgettable Greek culinary adventure. Combined with attentive and warm service from its lovey staff (we were enamoured with the team at White City!), you will have yourself the perfect pre-movie dining experience. With a lively atmosphere and occasional live entertainment, The Real Greek is also the perfect setting for birthdays, anniversaries, and parties. Opa!
