Nestled just beneath Tower Bridge, Vicinity is famous for its stunning location and boasts unmatched riverside views of iconic London landmarks such as Tower Bridge, The Shard and Butler’s Wharf, making it a truly magical way to spend an evening.
The lighting is romantic, the vibe is cosy and the food and drinks are comforting and delicious in every way.
Hygge in a glass
Guests can relish the hygge ambiance brought to life with woodland décor and sparkling lights, whilst sipping on carefully-crafted cocktails including the ‘Alpine White’, which is made up of Finlandia vodka, Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Fire, Captain Morgan dark rum, gomme syrup and coconut milk.
Cosy up with a drink in hand with one of the plentiful warm blankets available or perch yourself on the Instagrammable ski lift at the back of Alpine Lodge, where you can capture an unforgettable moment of Alpine magic… did we mention there’s a snow machine?

The food menu features dishes to suit any appetite. Guests can indulge in hearty winter dishes such as ‘The Ultimate Turkey Sandwich’, a 4oz flame-grilled turkey burger, topped with crispy bacon and cranberry sauce, nestled in a toasted brioche-style bun with a side of rich gravy for dipping, or the ‘Currywurst’, a smoked pork sausage served on crispy skin-on fries, generously topped with curry sauce and crispy onions.
We strongly recommend you opt for the delicious ‘Loaded Potato Rosti Bites’ and especially the ‘Alpine Cheese Dip’, with warm and gooey Reblochon cheese, served with toasted ciabatta.
Final call
The Alpine Lodge at Vicinity will remain open Thursday-Sunday from 12pm-7pm until 4th March, so this is your last chance to experience this wonderful winter-themed venue, before it undergoes a seasonal makeover in time for the spring and summer months.
